Jr. BWT Program Details
BWT's Jr. BWT program provides a beginner/ entry-level basketball program for boys & girls aged 5 to 7 years old. This program involves ...
- Weekly 45-minute sessions
- The number of sessions varies depending on the season
- The time is divided into skill sessions, informal competitions, and gameplay in a fun, active, and healthy learning-focused environment
- The curriculum is based on the Jr NBA Curriculum (experts in child development and physical literacy) combined with Basketball World Toronto's proven curriculum to provide a fun learning atmosphere.

- Drop off is anytime after 5:55 pm, Pick up is at 7:00 pm
Please Note: Locations and times of the youth program is subject to change depending on the final number of participants. We will do our best to remain at the current location/times, but we cannot make any guarantees.

Ready, Set, Play
Ready, Set, Play Children's Charity is a Registered Canadian Charity that can assist you if you require financial assistance. Applications do not have a standard timeframe to be approved, but we encourage you to submit your request ASAP to ensure you do not miss out.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- STEP 1 - Registration and approved application to Ready, Set, Play and confirmation from their team.
- STEP 2 - Register for a Basketball World Toronto Youth Program and contact BWT to provide confirmation of your Ready, Set, Play payment.

KidSport Ontario
KidSport Ontario is an organization that can assist you if you need financial assistance. Applications must be submitted 45 days prior to the activity start date.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Submit a KidsSport Grant Application as well as Income verification (N.O.A. & 3 Paystubs or E.I. doc.) and an endorsement letter (from a non-family member) that this child requires support.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.

Jumpstart
Jumpstart is an organization that provides an Individual Child Grant which a parent/guardian can submit for funding on behalf of their child. Approval normally takes between 6 to 8 weeks to receive confirmation.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Create an account and submit a new grant request.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.
- You are required to submit financial documents to receive a grant.

Jr. BWT SPONSOR - "SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK" - PRESENTED BY "YOUR COMPANY"
Basketball World Toronto is pleased to announce that as we are looking for a sponsor for our "Spotlight of the Week" for our Jr. BWT Program.
Based on having a season sponsor, One (1) player will be selected each week for their commitment to our core values including teamwork, hustle, fun attitude, sportsmanship, and other qualities for the week.
Please note - The goal of these awards is to recognize players for their support of our core values, however, there are to be no disputes of BWT's selection process.
