Basketball World Toronto's Youth Academy offers youth Rep Teams, Leagues, Skill Development Sessions, Training, Camps and Clinics. The goal is to provide high-quality programs to help develop younger basketball players learn, practice, play and excel in the sport of basketball.

Our competitive league is the following ...
- 7-8 Weeks of programs (depends on season)
- Team T-Shirt (Ages 8-11) or Reversible Team Jersey (Ages 12-17) included with registration.
- All games are officiated by trained coaches and/or certified referees.
- Online statistics, boxscore, and standings.
- Prizes for league champions
- Action shots and team photos.
- All players must review BWT's Rules & Regulations before playing.

Practice Details
- Location - Oakwood Collegiate - Oakwood & St. Clair
- Day - Thursday Evenings
- Time - 45-60 min practice on Thursday evenings
- Times 6:00 - 10:00 pm. Younger players will be earlier, older players will be later in the evening.
- We will work to keep the practice times as consistent as possible each week.
- Please note
- We will organize teams at the COMBINE DAY and then practice schedules will be laid out for each team and available on the BWT iOS APP or Android APP
Game Details
- Location - St. Mary's Secondary School - Bloor and Dufferin
- Day - Saturday
- Time - 45-60 minute game times between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
- We will work to keep the game times as consistent as possible each week. The younger ages will be earlier in the day, the older ages will be later in the day.

Team Assignment - PLEASE MAKE NOTE
- We will assign all participants to a team at the start of the season or at the first session. Then, all participants will be notified via email as to which team they have been placed on for the entire season once the teams have been finalized.

- Please Note - Locations, times, and days of practices/games are subject to change depending on the final number of players/teams. We will do our best to remain at the current locations, but we cannot make any guarantees and no refunds will be provided for adjustments.

Ready, Set, Play
Ready, Set, Play Children's Charity is a Registered Canadian Charity that can assist you if you require financial assistance. Applications do not have a standard timeframe to be approved, but we encourage you to submit your request ASAP to ensure you do not miss out.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- STEP 1 - Contact Ready, Set, Play to register with them and get an approved application that confirms your payment for a BWT Youth program for a specific season.
- STEP 2 - Send an email to BWT's Youth Program Coordinator at youth@bwt.ca explaining your approval from Ready, Set, Play and indicate your full name, your child's full name, their date of birth, the season you would like to register for, the program you would like to register for and the day/night of the session. Upon receipt of this email, BWT will work as quickly as possible to respond confirming your spot and indicate the next steps
- STEP 3 - We will add a credit into your account on our system and you will be required to Register for the program and sign their required waivers for the Basketball World Toronto Youth Program online.
- STEP 4 - BWT will contact Ready, Set, Play and arrange for payment.

KidSport Ontario
KidSport Ontario is an organization that can assist you if you need financial assistance. Applications must be submitted 45 days prior to the activity start date.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Submit a KidsSport Grant Application as well as Income verification (N.O.A. & 3 Paystubs or E.I. doc.) and an endorsement letter (from a non-family member) that this child requires support.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.

Jumpstart
Jumpstart is an organization that provides an Individual Child Grant which a parent/guardian can submit for funding on behalf of their child. Approval normally takes between 6 to 8 weeks to receive confirmation.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Create an account and submit a new grant request.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.
- You are required to submit financial documents to receive a grant.

BOYS COMPETITIVE LEAGUE SPONSOR FOR OUR "PLAYER OF THE WEEK" - PRES. BY "YOUR COMPANY"
Basketball World Toronto is looking for a presenting Sponsor for our Boys Competitive League "Player of the Week" for each age division and each week (9 Weeks) and each season (4 Seasons).
- The Boys Competitive League "Player Of The Week" will be selected based on the following criteria - Achievement of the team and individual weekly goals, work ethic, sportsmanship, performance, and coaches' feedback.
Please note - The goal of these awards is to recognize players for their weekly accomplishments, achievements and encourage positive behavior.
