Basketball World Toronto's Youth Academy offers youth Rep Teams, Leagues, Skill Development Sessions, Training, Camps and Clinics. The goal is to provide high-quality programs to help develop younger basketball players learn, practice, play and excel in the sport of basketball.

Program Overview
Basketball World Toronto Skill Development Program focuses on developing fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a passion for the love of the game of basketball. The curriculum is built off a combination of Basketball World Toronto, Basketball Ontario's Steve Nash Youth Basketball Program and the Canada Basketball Long Term Athletic Development Model. As a result, the curriculum is flexible enough to allow help children develop in the sport and have game play to enhance their skills
Program Details
- Sessions are 45-60 minutes long
- The group's time is divided into skill sessions, training, informal competitions, and gameplay.
- The number of sessions varies depending on the season
- Ages are grouped into 8-11 or 12-17 years old

- Oakwood Collegiate - 991 St. Clair Avenue West (Oakwood & St. Clair) - entrance to the gym is at the back of the school near the parking lot
- Please Note - We will finalize which location we will use once the final number of registrants is confirmed.

- Girls 2007-2012 - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm - usually later times

Ready, Set, Play Children's Charity is a Registered Canadian Charity that can assist you if you require financial assistance. Applications do not have a standard timeframe to be approved, but we encourage you to submit your request ASAP to ensure you do not miss out.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- STEP 1 - Registration and approved application to Ready, Set, Play and confirmation from their team.
- STEP 2 - Register for a Basketball World Toronto Youth Program and contact BWT to provide confirmation of your Ready, Set, Play payment.

KidSport Ontario
KidSport Ontario is an organization that can assist you if you need financial assistance. Applications must be submitted 45 days prior to the activity start date.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Submit a KidsSport Grant Application as well as Income verification (N.O.A. & 3 Paystubs or E.I. doc.) and an endorsement letter (from a non-family member) that this child requires support.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.

Jumpstart
Jumpstart is an organization that provides an Individual Child Grant which a parent/guardian can submit for funding on behalf of their child. Approval normally takes between 6 to 8 weeks to receive confirmation.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Create an account and submit a new grant request.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.
- You are required to submit financial documents to receive a grant.

GIRLS SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM SPONSOR FOR OUR "PLAYER OF THE WEEK" - PRES. BY "YOUR COMPANY"
Basketball World Toronto is looking for a presenting Sponsor for our Girls Skill Development Program "Player of the Week" for each age division and each night of the season (9 Weeks).
- The Girls Skill Development Program "Player Of The Week" will be selected based on the following criteria - Achievement of weekly goals, work ethic, sportsmanship, and coaches' feedback.
Please note - The goal of these awards is to recognize players for their weekly accomplishments, achievements and encourage positive behavior.
