Our competitive league is the following ...

  • Girls Ages 11-14
  • ~ 8 Weeks of programs (Practices + Games)
  • Reversible Jersey (included with registration)
  • All games officiated (younger age groupings will use trained coaches and/or certified referees)
  • Individual statistics, plus online boxscores and standings.
  • Prizes for league champions
  • Action shots and team photos. 
  • All players must review BWT's Rules & Regulations before playing.

Competitive House League Overview

We are pleased to announce our NEWEST youth program for girls.  This competitive league is for girls at the following ages 

  • 6 Weeks of programs
  • Reversible Jerseys (included with registration)
  • All games officiated (younger age groupings will use trained coaches, older ages will used certified TABO referees)
  • Individual statistics, plus online boxscores and standings.
  • Prizes for league champions & MVP
  • Action shots and team photos. 
  • All players must review BWT's Rules & Regulations before playing.
  • Teams
    • Birth year of 2003-2004-2005-2006

Practice & Game Details

The 6-week program will involve ...

  • ~ 4-5 Weeks of Practices
    • Saturday mornings
    • 1 hour of weekly team practice anytime between 9:00am-12:00pm
    • We will finalize the team practice schedule once the number of teams have been finalized.
  • 5 Weeks of Games
    • 4 Regular season games & Youth Day
    • Saturday Game times - 1 hour of game time each week on Saturdays
    • Game Length - 4 x 8 minute running time quarters.

Practice Details

  • Location - Loretto College - 151 Rosemount Ave, Toronto, ON (Dufferin & St. Clair)
  • Day  - Saturday  
  • Times  - Saturday mornings between ~ 9:00-12:00pm  
  • Please note
    • We will organize teams and then practice schedules will be laid out for each team
    • Locations, times and day of practices are subject to change depending on the final number of players. We will do our best to remain at the current location, but we cannot make any guarantees.

Game Details

  • Location (One or Both Locations may be used)
  • Day -  Saturday
  • Time -  1 Hour game between 10:00-2:00pm.  We will work to keep the game times as close to the practice times and as consistent as possible each week.  The younger ages will be earlier in the day, the older ages will be later in the day.
  • Please Note
    • Players will be assigned teams and we will post their actual game times closer to the start of the season.
    • Locations, times and days of house league is subject to change depending on the final number of players. We will do our best to remain at the current location, but we cannot make any guarantees.

Registration Deadline Monday July 3rd, 2023 $375 + HST + S/C = $439.31
Late Registration Tuesday July 4th, 2023 ONWARDS $375 + HST + S/C = $439.31

Ready, Set, Play

Ready, Set, Play Children's Charity is a Registered Canadian Charity that can assist you if you require financial assistance.   Applications do not have a standard timeframe to be approved, but we encourage you to submit your request ASAP to ensure you do not miss out.

Here Are The Steps To Apply

  • STEP 1 - Registration and approved application to Ready, Set, Play and confirmation from their team.
  • STEP 2 - Register for a Basketball World Toronto Youth Program and contact BWT to provide confirmation of your Ready, Set, Play payment.

KidSport Ontario is an organization that can assist you if you need financial assistance.  Applications must be submitted 45 days prior to the activity start date.

Jumpstart

Jumpstart is an organization that provides an Individual Child Grant which a parent/guardian can submit for funding on behalf of their child.  Approval normally takes between 6 to 8 weeks to receive confirmation.

GIRLS COMPETITIVE LEAGUE SPONSOR FOR OUR "PLAYER OF THE WEEK" - PRES. BY "YOUR COMPANY"

Basketball World Toronto is looking for a presenting Sponsor for our GIRLS Competitive League "Player of the Week" for each age division, each week (9 Weeks) and for each season (4 Seasons).

  • The Girls Competitive League "Player Of The Week" will be selected based on the following criteria - Achievement of the team and individual weekly goals, work ethic, sportsmanship, performance, and coaches' feedback.

Please note - The goal of these awards is to recognize players for their weekly accomplishments, achievements and encourage positive behavior.
