The Squad defeated Dynasty 70-55 this Monday to take the Monday Women's Comp Championship title. Dynasty fought hard the whole game but The Squad’s ability to effectively use their offensive rebounds pushed them over the edge. Emily Hazlett from The Squad was crowned MVP at the end of the game with 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. She received a free membership to Body & Soul as well as a complimentary personal training session.

Warriorz Take the Title!

Warriorz came back in the 4th to defeat MOB 401

Another champion was crowned this week! Warriorz came through in the 4th quarter to steal the Sunday Men's Comp title from MOB 401.

With MOB 401 taking a 10 point lead at the end of the third quarter, Warriorz didn’t seem like they had a chance at a comeback, However, under the leadership of MVP Zach Laan, they had a fantastic come back. Laan totaled 12 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. He received a prize pack courtesy of the sports apparel company 2XU.

Money Threes Wins!

Money Threes win it in OT!

This past Sunday, Money Threes and Gormley Goats went head to head for the Sunday Rec Division Championship Title! With Gormley Goats about to win it all in the last couple of seconds, Money Threes came back and forced the game to go in OT. However, it came down to the last possession in OT when Gormley Goats just couldn’t make it count. Money Threes took the title, winning 38-36. Komail Nadeem was award with the playoff MVP award scoring 12 points. He received a gym membership and personal training session courtesy of Body & Soul.
