DEMEANOIR & BOBAN BOYS WIN BIG
The Summer 2016 Men's Rec. Division finished on Tuesday as Demeanoir crushed Big Cat & The Boys 45-31, while the Sunday finals were no different as The Boban Boys beat Wet Bandits 46-35.
Both games were high action. In the Tuesday Division, Demeanoir were the clear favourites throughout the season and carried their hot shooting into the playoffs. They made five three-pointers, moved the ball well and played a team-oriented game. On the other hand, The Boban Boys took a more aggressive approach. They made 15 free-throws in total and showed why they were favoured as well.
Your MVPs for the Rec. Finals are Tyler Johnston of Demeanoir and Tommy Murphy of The Boban Boys. Johnston had 15 points, nine of which were from downtown, while Murphy had 13 points, with with makes at the charity stripe. Congratulations to both these gentleman on their great performances!
