Fall 2015 Women's Division Finals

Tronin' Yo defeats Dynasty

BWT's Fall 2015 - Women's Division wrapped up on Monday with the top two teams from the regular season, Dynasty and Tronin Yo' squaring off at Branksome Hall. Down by 2 points at the end of the third quarter, Tronin Yo' overcame the odds with only 6 players available to edge out the number 1 ranked Dynasty 61-59. Tronin Yo' was led by Liz Boag who led the team with 22 points and May Kotsopoulos who chipped in with 15 points. 
 
Congratulations to Tronin Yo' on winning BWT's Fall 2015 - Women's Division. We would like to take this time to thank all players who participated in the fall league and look forward to seeing you all in the winter!

Men's Competitive All-Star Game Recap

BWT's Fall 2015 - Men's Competitive All-Star Game consisted of the best players from both the Thursday (West All-Stars) and Sunday (East All-Stars) division. The game came down to the wire with the West All-Stars edging the East All-Stars 57-55 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre on Saturday night. Down by two points entering the final quarter, the West All-Stars used a 27-19 run to come from behind and complete the comeback. The West All-Stars were led by Ascendant's James Clarke and Simo Grunberg, who played a pivotal role in claiming BWT's Fall 2015 - Men's Competitive (Thursday) Division title a few weeks earlier. James Clarke was named the All-Star Game's MVP with a line of 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Women's Division All-Star Game Recap

BWT's Fall 2015 - All-Star Game festivities kicked off Saturday night at the Mattamy Athletic Centre with the Women's All-Star Game, which consisted of the top players from this past season. The West All-Stars won convincingly over the East All-Stars and put the game out of reach by the end of the third quarter up by 17 points. Dana O'Born led the way for the West All-Stars with a dominating performance of 25 points, 12 rebounds as well as an assist and a steal, she was named the All-Star Game's MVP. 

Men's Corporate Division All-Star Game Recap

BWT's Fall 2015 - Men's Corporate All-Star Game consisted of the best players from both the Monday and Wednesday division. The game tipped off Sunday morning at the ACC. The West All-Stars won convincingly over the East All-Stars and put the game out of reach by the end of the third quarter up by 25 points. Kenny Perry led the way for the West All-Stars with a dominating performance of 16 points, 5 rebounds as well as an assist and two steals, he was named the All-Star Game's MVP.
