By BWT 01/01/2016, 2:00pm EST

Brick Squad take the Championship

BWT's Fall 2015 – Rec Division Championship was played on Sunday December 20th, 2015 at Marshall McLuhan S.S. The finals were a matchup of the #1 seed Brick Squad vs. the #2 seed Nanbans.

The game was a matchup of two evenly balanced squads. Nanbans were led by #6 Ranjan Muthulingam and a balanced attack from his teammates. Grizzlies were by #11 Mussa Noble-Mohamed and his balanced supporting cast.

Nanbans took the lead early on in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Brick Squad made a comeback and took the lead. In the last quarter Nanbans had lost momentum and Brick Squad had the lead. In the last few minutes remaining of the game Nanbans were of the verge of making a comback closing the gap to 2 points. However, Brick Squad put on a good defesive run and held on to the lead to take Basketball World Toronto Fall 2015 - Rec Division Championship.

Playoff & Finals MVP was #11 Mussa Noble Mohamed from Brick Squad who finished with 17 points.

Congratulations to Brick Squad on a job well done and we want to take this time to thank all players who participated in a very competitive season.

We look forward to seeing you all in the winter season starting in January 2016!
