Basketball World Toronto's Women's Summer League 2013 Championship Game was played on Monday August 19th, 2013.  The game featured the #1 seed Fusion vs. the #2 seed Storm.  The game was an excellent matchup of two evenly balanced squads.  Fusion was led by the sharp shooting Niveal Pastrana #3 and the inside presence of Ashleigh Martin #30.  Storm countered with their dynamic duo of Hali Burns #22 and Jahlica Kirnon #2 who have shot the lights out from 3PT all season.  At the half, Storm was in the lead 37-24.  As the second half got under way, Fusion started to close the gap and make the game exciting.  But as the final seconds wound down, Storm maintained their lead and defeated Fusion 65-59. Congratulations and thank you to all participants in BWT's Women's Summer League 2013.
