PLEASE NOTE
This internship application is ONLY for those students who are currently registered in a Canadian Academic Institution AND who are registered for an academic program that REQUIRES a MANDATORY internship requirement that must be completed before receiving your academic credits. The internship hours must be required during the season in which you are applying for the internship.

An internship with Basketball World Toronto provides students who ARE registered in an Academic school program that requires an Internship the opportunity to learn and gain valuable work experience during their school-required work term in a grassroots sports organization. BWT looks for students who can demonstrate a hard work ethic, knowledge of basketball, and willingness to learn in each of these positions.
The specific hours will be based on the student's educational requirements and the start date of the internship. These internships are honorarium-based (the amount to be determined based on the number of hours AND on achieving specific performance/impact measures).
Since the Pandemic, these positions have shifted to a virtual position for the student to work from school/home. However, the positions do require interns to be present at their required events but there is NO REQUIREMENT to have a student come into the office at the moment.
