Competitive House League Overview
We are pleased to announce our Competitive House League program for girls. This competitive league is as follows ...
- 8 Weeks of programs
- Reversible Jerseys (included with registration for players 12-17). Youth Ages 8-11 will receive T-shirts (and use Pinnies during the game).
- All games officiated (younger age groupings will use trained coaches, older ages will use certified TABO referees)
- Individual statistics, plus online boxscores and standings.
- Prizes for league champions & MVP
- Action shots and team photos.
- All players must review BWT's Rules & Regulations before playing.

Practice & Game Details
The 8-week program will involve ...
- ~8 Weeks of Practices
- Saturday mornings - 45-60 min. weekly team practice anytime on Saturday usually between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
- We will finalize the team practice schedule once the number of teams has been finalized.
- ~8 Weeks of Games
- 7 Regular season games + 1 Finals/Consolation Week
- Game Day - Saturday
- Game Length - 4 x 8-minute running time quarters.

- Location (Note - 1 Or All Locations may be used)
- Day - Saturday Mornings
- Times - 45-60 min practice on Saturday mornings between ~ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
- Please note
- We will organize teams and then practice schedules will be laid out for each team
- Locations, times, and days of practices are subject to change depending on the final number of players. We will do our best to remain at the current location, but we cannot make any guarantees.
Saturday Game Details
- Location (Note - 1 Or All Locations may be used)
- Day - Saturday
- Time - Game time between 9:00am-2:00pm. We will work to keep the game times as consistent as possible each week. The younger ages will be earlier in the day, the older ages will be later in the day.

- Players will be assigned teams and we will post their actual game times closer to the start of the season.
- Locations, times, and days of the league are subject to change depending on the final number of players. We will do our best to remain at the current location, but we cannot make any guarantees.

Ready, Set, Play
Ready, Set, Play Children's Charity is a Registered Canadian Charity that can assist you if you require financial assistance. Applications do not have a standard timeframe to be approved, but we encourage you to submit your request ASAP to ensure you do not miss out.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- STEP 1 - Contact Ready, Set, Play to register with them and get an approved application that confirms your payment for a BWT Youth program for a specific season.
- STEP 2 - Send an email to BWT's Youth Program Coordinator at youth@bwt.ca explaining your approval from Ready, Set, Play and indicate your full name, your child's full name, their date of birth, the season you would like to register for, the program you would like to register for and the day/night of the session. Upon receipt of this email, BWT will work as quickly as possible to respond confirming your spot and indicate the next steps
- STEP 3 - We will add a credit into your account on our system and you will be required to Register for the program and sign their required waivers for the Basketball World Toronto Youth Program online.
- STEP 4 - BWT will contact Ready, Set, Play and arrange for payment.

KidSport Ontario
KidSport Ontario is an organization that can assist you if you need financial assistance. Applications must be submitted 45 days prior to the activity start date.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Submit a KidsSport Grant Application as well as Income verification (N.O.A. & 3 Paystubs or E.I. doc.) and an endorsement letter (from a non-family member) that this child requires support.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.

Jumpstart
Jumpstart is an organization that provides an Individual Child Grant which a parent/guardian can submit for funding on behalf of their child. Approval normally takes between 6 to 8 weeks to receive confirmation.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Create an account and submit a new grant request.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.
- You are required to submit financial documents to receive a grant.

GIRLS COMPETITIVE LEAGUE SPONSOR FOR OUR "PLAYER OF THE WEEK" - PRES. BY "YOUR COMPANY"
Basketball World Toronto is looking for a presenting Sponsor for our GIRLS Competitive League "Player of the Week" for each age division, each week (9 Weeks) and for each season (4 Seasons).
- The Girls Competitive League "Player Of The Week" will be selected based on the following criteria - Achievement of the team and individual weekly goals, work ethic, sportsmanship, performance, and coaches' feedback.
Please note - The goal of these awards is to recognize players for their weekly accomplishments, achievements and encourage positive behavior.
