Youth Girls Programs
Basketball World Toronto's Youth Academy offers youth Rep Teams, House Leagues, Camps, Training and Clinics. The goal of BWT's Youth Academy is to provide high quality youth programs to help develop younger basketball players learn, practice, play and excel in the sport of basketball.

Which Girls Program should I choose?
Listed below is a brief explanation of each of our main Girls Programs ...
Competitive League
- What?
- 1 Team Practice - 1 Hour Per Week
- 1 Formal Game - 1-1.5 Hours Per Week - A formal game with a referee against another house league team within our BWT club.
- How Many? - 8 Weeks + Youth Day / season
- Who? - This program is for the more comfortable players and players who have played house league and organized games before. There is both a Girls and Boys Competitive House League.
- What Ages?
- Boys - Ages 8-10, 11-13 and 14-16
- Girls - Ages 8-11 and 12-15
- Age Divisions are based on final numbers each season
Skill Dev. Program
- What? - 1 session per week. Time is divided into skill sessions, training, and then informal competitions and gameplay amongst the group.
- How Long? - 1.5 total hours per week
- How Many? - 8 Weeks + Youth Day / season
- Who? - This program is more focused on the newer players and beginners. There is both a Girls and Boys program.
- What Ages?
- Boys - Ages 8-11, 12-15 ,and 14-16 (Sat Only)
- Girls - Ages 8-11 or 12-15
Jr BWT Program
- What? - 1 session per week. Time is divided into skill sessions and then informal competitions and gameplay amongst the group.
- How Long? - 1.5 total hours per week includes w-up & cool-down
- How Many? - 8 Weeks + Youth Day / season
- Who? - The focus is on fun, fair and inclusive learnings about the sport of basketball. This program is made up of newer players and beginners at the very young age. The program is Co-Ed (however mainly boys with some girls).
- What Ages? Ages 5-7 (Min. age is 5, Max. age is 7)
