Competitive League Overview
We are pleased to announce our Competitive League program for boys. This competitive league is as follows ...
- 8 Weeks of programs
- Reversible Jerseys (included with registration for ages 12-17). Youth Ages 8-11 will receive T-shirts (and use Pinnies during the game)
- All games officiated (younger age groupings will use coaches, older ages will use a certified TABO referee)
- Individual statistics, plus online boxscores and standings.
- Prizes for league champions
- Action shots and team photos
- All players must review BWT's Rules and Regulations before playing.

- Birth year of 2012-2013-2014-2015
- Birth year of 2006-2007-2008-2009-2010-2011
Practice & Game Details
The 8-week program will involve ...
- ~7-8 Weeks of Practices
- Saturday - 45-60 min. weekly team practice anytime between 9:00-12:00pm on Saturdays
- We will finalize the team practice schedule once the number of teams has been finalized.
- ~ 8 Weeks of Games
- 7 Regular season games + 1 Finals or Consolation Game
- Game Time - Saturday - Game time each week on Saturday will be between 9 am - 2:00 pm
- Game Length
- Younger - 4 x 6-minute running time quarters
- Older - 4 x 8-minute running time quarters.
SATURDAY - PRACTICE DETAILS
- Locations (1 or both Locations will be used)
- Day - Saturday
- Times - 45-60 min. practice on Saturday mornings between 9:00-12:00 pm.
- Please note
- We will organize teams at the COMBINE DAY and then practice schedules will be laid out for each team and available on the BWT iOS APP or Android APP.
- Locations, times, and days of practice are subject to change depending on the final number of players. We will do our best to remain at the current location, but we cannot make any guarantees.
SATURDAY - GAME DETAILS
- Locations (1 or both Locations will be used)
- St. Mary's Secondary School - Bloor and Dufferin
- PLEASE NOTE - the practice and game will be at the same location
- Day - Saturday
- Time - Game time between 10:00-2:00 pm. We will work to keep the game times as close to the practice times and as consistent as possible each week. The younger ages will be earlier in the day, the older ages will be later.

Ready, Set, Play Children's Charity is a Registered Canadian Charity that can assist you if you require financial assistance. Applications do not have a standard timeframe to be approved, but we encourage you to submit your request ASAP to ensure you do not miss out.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- STEP 1 - Registration and approved application to Ready, Set, Play and confirmation from their team.
- STEP 2 - Register for a Basketball World Toronto Youth Program and contact BWT to provide confirmation of your Ready, Set, Play payment.

KidSport Ontario
KidSport Ontario is an organization that can assist you if you need financial assistance. Applications must be submitted 45 days prior to the activity start date.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Submit a KidsSport Grant Application as well as Income verification (N.O.A. & 3 Paystubs or E.I. doc.) and an endorsement letter (from a non-family member) that this child requires support.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.

Jumpstart
Jumpstart is an organization that provides an Individual Child Grant which a parent/guardian can submit for funding on behalf of their child. Approval normally takes between 6 to 8 weeks to receive confirmation.
Here Are The Steps To Apply
- Create an account and submit a new grant request.
- Complete a BWT Youth Program Registration.
- You are required to submit financial documents to receive a grant.

BOYS COMPETITIVE LEAGUE SPONSOR FOR OUR "PLAYER OF THE WEEK" - PRES. BY "YOUR COMPANY"
Basketball World Toronto is looking for a presenting Sponsor for our Boys Competitive League "Player of the Week" for each age division and each week (9 Weeks) and each season (4 Seasons).
- The Boys Competitive League "Player Of The Week" will be selected based on the following criteria - Achievement of the team and individual weekly goals, work ethic, sportsmanship, performance, and coaches' feedback.
Please note - The goal of these awards is to recognize players for their weekly accomplishments, achievements and encourage positive behavior.
