A one of a kind experience for Girls

3-time Olympic Gold Medalist, WNBA Champion and Author Tamika Catchings is teaming up with Canada’s own WNBA Champion Tammy Sutton-Brown to host the first-ever All-Star Girls Basketball Clinic Event during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Toronto, Ontario.

This event will provide girls ages 8-18 with the opportunity to interact both on and off the court with one of the most successful female basketball players of all time. Participants will experience:
  • On-court skills training
  • Q&A session
  • Goal-setting tips
  • Guest appearances by other professional athletes
  • Chance to win a pair of tickets to join Tammy at NBA All-Star Saturday Night to see Tamika live on the court alongside some of the biggest NBA All-Stars ($2,500+ value).
"This is a one of a kind experience for girls to have the ultimate All-Star weekend by learning from some of the best and playing alongside WNBA Pros,” said Sutton-Brown.
 
 “It's NBA All-Star Weekend, so you never know who else may stop by,” said Catchings.
 
The All-Star Girls Basketball Clinic takes place on Saturday February 13th, 2016 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Ryerson University in Toronto, ON.

Tamika Catchings is a professional basketball player, currently leading the WNBA in career playoff starts, points, rebounds, free throws, steals, double-doubles and games played. Tammy Sutton-Brown played for Team Canada from 1999-2006, participating in the 2000 Olympics, and spent 12 years in the WNBA and overseas before retiring after winning a Championship in 2012.
