On March 16, 2013, Basketball World Toronto partnered with Nike & Footlocker House of Hoops to host the Free Lebron James Basketball Skills Clinic to celebrate the opening of the first Nike House of Hoops store on Yonge Street, Toronto.  The free clinic was run by BWT's certified basketball coaches and trainers who taught over 100+ boys and girls aged 5-15 from underpriveleged neighbourhoods in Toronto skill-building activities, in a NBA like atmosphere. In addition to this basketball clinic, participants were given wristbands to attend the Lebron James Special event meet and greet later that afternoon.
